HONORING OUR FLAG

I am writing this on my blog but these words are not mine...they are words God placed in my brother's heart...his name is Maxey but we call him Buster. Our Flag Stands For Freedom A long time ago the color of our skin made a difference. Our country is not perfect, but it has come a long way. Today it is not skin color that makes a difference, it is people. Too many have forgotten what is important. God made this world and everything in it. Anybody that thinks God is not in control is badly mistaken. There are people that think they are in control...the government, the wealthy and others. The President of the United States of America is our Commander in Chief. He has to make decisions that affects every part of an American's life. We as Americans should not be fighting our President but should be praying to God to give him the wisdom and heart to make the right decisions to the best of a humans ability. Nobody can do anything without God. God gives everyone gifts that He w

THE BREATH OF GOD

One truth I want to make clear....NO sickness, disease, depression, NOTHING that steals, kills, or destroys is from God. The Word says, "the thief/Satan comes to steal, kill and destroy, but I have come to give you Life and Life more abundantly" John 10:10 We are in this world but not of this world, our home is in the Kingdom of God. While we are here we are on "Life Support"...The very Breath of God.... When, and I say when because it will continually happen...when the enemy/Satan comes against us....he is constantly seeking someone to devour! So, when you feel as if you can hardly breathe from the pain that is seeking to steal, kill and destroy. God gives us Mouth to mouth....Big M - little m....breathe His Word in - breathe His Word out Don't forget to breathe.... I just noticed, I can't breathe out until I breathe in.... Let's keep a check on our breathing, make sure we are breathing in the Breath of God....Big M to little m His Breat

"JESUS IS LORD"

Has Jesus been born in you? This is a question my Pastor ask us.......I personally really liked this question. And the reason I liked it is: I have realized, that my life as a Christian has been lived separated from God. I know that doesn't sound right, but have you noticed that most teaching keeps us separated? We are taught that: God Is.....I am not......don't get me wrong, I know this is true but keep reading........ There can't help but be separation....oil and water, right. Well, there you go....how do I become who the Bible teaches I should be. Okay, of course, it is by faith..... I know that, I've known that for a long time, but for some reason could never quite seem to find enough faith to be...... This produced a roller coaster life... When I felt, I was doing good, I stayed up.....but when I messed up or felt I wasn't doing so great, I would be down. I remember, hmmm, approximately 16 years ago.....I found out there is so much more to

"BELLY OF THE WHALE"

2 Chronicles 7:14... "If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from   heaven, and forgive their   sin and heal their   land." Luke 17:26-29... "And as it was in the days of Noah, so it   will be also in the days of the   Son of   Man: They ate, they drank, they   married wives, they   were given in marriage until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.   Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: they ate, they drank, they    bought, they   sold, they   planted, they built; but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone and destroyed them all." In the Word of God, we have Joseph, we have David, we have Daniel and then we have Jonah. We all know the stories of these men: Which one do you think we, the body of Christ...the Church, would most identify with? I'm thinking there is one really enor

"TAKE UP YOUR BED"

Ponder on this: The world says: "you've made your bed, now lie in it" Jesus says: Mark 2:9 NKJV  "Which is easier to say to the paralytic, "Your sins are forgiven you" or to say, "Arise, take up your bed and walk"? John 5:8  NKJV  Jesus said to him, "Rise, take up your bed and walk." John 5:11 NKJV  He answered them, "He who made me well said to me, 'Take up your bed and walk.'"                                                                 John 5:12 NKJV  Then they ask him, "Who is the Man who said to you, 'Take up your bed and walk'?" Romans 12:2  "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God." Deut. 30:19  "I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose li

"REFLECTION"

Image
Rainbow in our daughters front yard Add caption In the process of looking up the definition of reflection, I found this: Rainbow - A bow or arch of the colors of the prism that is formed in the sky opposite to the sun by the reflection, double refraction, and dispersion of the sun's rays in falling drops of rain. This a beautiful picture I can wrap my senses around while revealing the unseen that I sometimes have a hard time getting a hold of. If you have noticed, you only see rainbows when there is rain and sun. We know to look for the rainbow when this happens. Next time your life seems to be filled with rain, remember Jesus, the "Son" of God and expect your rainbow. You cannot reflect what you don't possess. If you don't know Jesus as you Lord and Savior, ask Him to come into your heart. He will....He loves you very much!!! John 3:16..."God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not pe

"A PONDERING HEART"

Luke 2:19...."But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart." What are you pondering in your heart? Here are few things I'm pondering in my heart..... Genesis   1:3-26 ....God said...God saw.... Genesis   1:26 ......."Let us make man in Our image".... Mark   11:23 ....."For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith." John   14:12 .....Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on Me, the works that I do, he shall do also; and greater works than these shall he do, because I go unto My Father." Mark   16:17-18 ....."And these signs shall follow them that believe; in My name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; (18) they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly
