"BELLY OF THE WHALE"

2 Chronicles 7:14..."If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and forgive their sin and heal their land."

Luke 17:26-29..."And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: they ate, they drank, they  bought, they sold, they planted, they built; but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone and destroyed them all."

In the Word of God, we have Joseph, we have David, we have Daniel and then we have Jonah.

We all know the stories of these men:

Which one do you think we, the body of Christ...the Church, would most identify with?

I'm thinking there is one really enormously fat whale out there!!

Time for us to wake up!!    Time for us to repent!!

Jonah was a man of God but because of  self-centered, disobedience.......

We are also of God but because of our self-centered, disobedience.........

Revelation 16:1-17

"Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels, "Go and pour out the bowls of the wrath of God on the earth."

This chapter is after the "seals" and after the "trumpets"

Listen to this:

Verse 8...Fourth bowl - "and they did not repent and give Him glory"

Verse 10...Fifth bowl - "and did not repent of their deeds"

This amazed me, after all that they still would not repent!!

How long is it going to take....
What is it going to take....

Deuteronomy 30:19...."I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live."

Matthew 6:33..."But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you."

We are all seeking.....

Repent means to turn.....

If we don't like where we are, what we have, or who we are, then......

That's right.....repent

Turn to "the Word"....read "the Good News"

1 John 4:10..."In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins."

1 John 4:16..."And we have known and believed the love that God has for us, God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him."

I'll see you at the alter.......

God is waiting
